Manuel Barbero, father of a victim of sexual abuse, and Joaquín Benítez, the pedophile who abused Manuel's son and twenty other children, are the main characters of this documentary. The director of the film addresses the key figures in this story with a journalistic research work. For the first time, a pedophile speaks and confesses to an uncovered face in a documentary.
(Sabadell, 1993), Studies cinema at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya), where he specialized in the editing field. “SASHA” the full-lenght film documentary, is his first film as a director, produced as the final project of his degree. Sasha won a Special Mention in Seminci (Spain) and participated in many festivals around the world. Shootball is the second documentary of the director. He has edited film documentaries such as “Peret i l’origen de la rumba” and “Et toca a tu”. He is also member of the editing team in “El Rey de la Habana”, by Agustí Villaronga and “No quiero perderte nunca”, by Alejo Levis.
